cougar

My nieghbor broght my daughter and one of the daycare kids home today, because there was a cougar spotted about 15 blocks from our house. The bus driver wouldn't let the kids get of the bus and walk the one block to our house without an adult. The problem was that the audimatied system used to call the parents didn't work, so I never found out. Lucky for me my neighbor had gone to the school and had found out, so she was at the stop. The fish and wildlife department says cougars can travel as much as 20 miles in a day, so the school isn't worried about tomorrow. The weird thing is that the cougar was spotted early this morning, and they let the kindergartners walk here from the bus at 11:30 CRAZY, wouldn't they make a easier meal? well, for all those who live near me, be aware that there could be a little kitty out there!
